To help people know and follow Jesus step-by-step

We imagine a local church of Christ followers who joyfully make room for people at every stage of belief,

who gather as one each weekend to experience God and proclaim the Good News in the most excellent way,

who all belong in small group community to grow their faith and authentically live it out together in real time,

and who love their world with intentional, creative outreach so that those far from God may be brought closer to him.

Life Church Buffalo History

1969
Ground Breaking

Saint Catherine’s of Siena break ground at 4928 Seneca Street.

1970
St Catherine's Opens

Saint Catherine’s opens it’s doors for the first time.  It quickly becomes known as a spirit filled Catholic Church.

2006
Life Church Buffalo Orgins

Founding pastor Craig McLeod opens the doors of his home for the first Life Giving Church service.

Life Giving Church shortly after changes it’s name to Life Church Buffalo and rents space at Creekside Manor.

Kelly Jankowski becomes the church’s first worship leader.

2010
Life Church's New Home

Life Church Buffalo purchases the St Catherine’s building at 4928 Seneca Street.

2016
Pete Becomes Co-Lead Pastor

Pastor Pete Jankowski joins staff as the Co-Lead Pastor.

2017
Transition Sunday

Craig McLeod passes baton to Pete Jankowski and installs him as lead pastor

2020
Building Extension Ground Breaking

Plans to expand the Life Church Buffalo building began with the ground breaking for the new auditorium.

2021
New Auditorium Open

The new audiorium expansion opens for it’s first service.

2022
New Co-Lead Pastor

Kelly Jankowski installed as Co-Lead Pastor
