Pete Jankowski

Lead Pastor

Pete felt the call to be a pastor at 13. He would be part of the team that planted Life Church Buffalo in 2006. In 2012, Pete accepted a full-time position in vocational ministry in Columbus, Ohio, however, God unexpectedly called Pete back to Buffalo three years later. For a year, Pete co-led Life Church with Pastor Craig, and was installed as the Lead Pastor in June 2017.

Kelly Jankowski

Co-Lead Pastor

Kelly was at the young age of 11 when she knew she was lead to be a pastor. She was part of the team that helped plant Life Church Buffalo in 2006, served as a volunteer for many years and was the church’s first worship leader. Now Kelly serves alongside her husband Pete as the Co-Lead Pastor of Life Church Buffalo.

Beth Miller

Executive Pastor of Ministries

Pastor Beth accepted Jesus at 5 years old and from a very young age was volunteering and serving at her church. Beth served as a volunteer children’s director at a church in Niagara Falls, but moved to Columbus, Ohio to finish her degree in biology. God called her into full-time ministry where she’s been serving since 2002 and joined Life Church in 2018.

Loren Sperrey

Executive Pastor of Operations

Loren started following Jesus at a very early age and was baptised at 7. Being close with God his whole life, Loren understood God’s mercy, grace, and sacrifice as he walked through addiction recovery in the early 2000s. Loren was called to vocational ministry which led him to a 22 year career in Christian television production. He was part of the team that planted Life Church Buffalo in 2006, and officially joined the staff in 2011.

Bethany Mazur

Connections Pastor

Bethany has been a Christian since a very young age and in 1997 began serving at her church after understanding Jesus’s love for her on a new level. Bethany has been at Life Church since its formation in 2006 and has served in some capacity since then. In 2016 she joined the staff, and in 2020 obeyed God’s call for her to leave her career in higher education to join the team full-time.

Jordan McLeod

Worship Pastor

Jordan has had a call to ministry on His life from a young age. After years of falling away, Jordan came back to Jesus in 2018 and dove back into worship ministry soon after that. Jordan served as a leader and worship pastor in Nashville. In the years to follow, the Lord called him to start his own ministry – Abide & Dwell. Jordan is continuing to cary out his calling back to New York as the Worship Pastor at Life Church Buffalo.

Jordan Bennett

Student Pastor

Jordan accepted Jesus when he was twelve years old at a church that his parents planted in Lafayette, IN. He knew that he was called to full-time ministry as a teen, through the encouragement of his parents when they saw how God was using him to teach and lead worship. Jordan joined Life Church Buffalo in 2022 when he accepted the position of Student Pastor.

Caleb DesJardens

Outreach Director

Caleb felt the call to serve at age 20, growing his passion for people over the next decade while honing his operational skills in tourism across Niagara Falls and Buffalo. After he and his wife began attending Life Church Buffalo in early 2023, Caleb put his relational gifts to work through various outreach efforts. In the summer of 2024, he joined the staff as Outreach Director, where he combines his love for people, the community, and his executive experience to lead outreach initiatives and support the building of God’s Kingdom.

Ashlee Cervo

Childrens Director

Ashlee has always had a passion to impact the lives of families with young children. She has volunteered at Life Church since she was in middle school and has always felt a calling to care for the innocent and vulnerable. After leading in various departments of our children’s ministry and working closely with Pastor Beth Miller, she followed God’s prompting through intentional prayer to enter into full time ministry and has been on staff since 2022.
